Decora ‘Friends Take Time’

(click album cover to stream on Spotify)

Alternative Hip Hop artist Decora fuses R&B, Electronic, Low-Fi, Trip Hop, Soul, Gospel (and on occasion) Industrial elements on his newest album ‘Friends Take Time’’.

I became a fan of Decora while collaborating on the Newburgh Illuminated Festival and with the drop of his first solo album ‘Bread and Oats’ (both in 2015).

Since then, Decora has released a series of eps and albums further presenting an ever-evolving sound, conveying a willingness to experiment and explore in his compositions where others artists of his high caliber would be too afraid to tread.

Digital release. 13 tracks / 36 mins. Production is on-point. Favorites so far are ‘Low Low’ (it’s so fucking catchy), ‘Keep It Real’, ‘Fade’, ‘Nice and Easy’ and ‘Fake Friends 2’.
